Meet our new team member!

Sayari is pleased to welcome Elorri SAVORY as an Environment and Biodiversity Consultant. To mark her arrival, we asked her a few questions. 

Here is her interview. 

Why did you choose Sayari ?  

I am currently doing an internship as part of my gap year, and I wanted to join a company committed to environmental conservation and biodiversity. Sayari is exactly what I’m looking for, and it has the added advantage of being a company on a human scale, which will allow me to gain as much knowledge as possible while contributing to the company’s projects.

Which environmental issues concern you the most ?   

One of the environmental issues that’s often on my mind is deforestation. I think it perfectly illustrates the absurdity of the world we live in, where we’re willing to drive straight into a wall and destroy the planet for the sole purpose of increasing our profits. More recently, the issue of Arctic melting has also deeply troubled me. Once again, the climate disaster that this event represents has taken a back seat to the economic and commercial “opportunities” it presented.

What are your favorite hobbies ?  

I really like to read! I also enjoy musique, whether it’s listening to it, going to concerts, or playing it myself. 😊 (I’ve been playing the piano for a few years now)

If you were an animal, youd’d be…

I would be a little owl ! Solely because they’re so cute. 😊 (And I would also be able to fly ! )

If you had to go on a desert island, what 3 things would you take with you ?  

My phone for musique, my favorite book, and the biggest coffee container I can find !
