Sayari is pleased to welcome Grégoire Gaillet who joins us as an LCA and biodiversity consultant.
Interview of Grégoire:
Why did you choose Sayari?
G: I am very attached to the scientific value and the impact of my work on the society. Sayari enables me to contribute operationally to the improvement of the environmental impact of French food consumption, while keeping a robust and reliable scientific basis.
Moreover, I have already worked with Sayari in student projects, which showed me the kindness of the team, as well as the honesty and seriousness in its work.
What will you be working on?
E : I work with Aurore on various missions, especially for the completion of Life Cycle Assessments and other environmental studies.
About which environmental challenges are you the more concerned ?
G: My main concern is on biodiversity loss. Biodiversity is a complex concept, its loss being even more difficult than climate change to assess, and its current and future impacts on our lives even greater. The second challenge we talk rarely about is marine animals welfare. The damages human activities do to them are not often seen in the news due to the difficulty of access but also because we can’t easily see below water!
What are your favorite hobbies?
G: Dancing, may it be lessons, choreography, or party, and spend time with my family.
Do you have a motto?
G: This Chinese proverb where we can substitute “plant a tree” with any environmental action: “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now. »
If you were an animal, you would be…
G: A dolphin (I wanted to say a sperm whale, but that would be presomptuous)
If you were to go to a deserted island, what are the three things you would take with you ?
G: My three best friends!
