Anne Claire Asselin founded Sayari in 2018 to support companies and organizations in the development of their business model towards sustainability and sustainable innovation.
Her experience covers:
• Environmental footprints
• Biodiversity footprint
• Environmental « Life Cycle Inventory” databases, in particular on food value chains, from “farm to fork”.
• Assessment and improvement of companies’ value chain in developing countries / emerging economies (Brazil, Colombia, India, South Africa…)
• Animation of trainings on sustainable development and value chain’s assessment and improvement (French and English): Brazil, South Africa, Bhutan, Morocco, Malaysia
• Life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) assessment methodologies
She contributes to projects hosted by the United Nations, especially to the “Life Cycle Impact Indicators (GLAM), and to the “ One Planet Network Sustainable Food Systems “Core initiative on Biodiversity”.
Anne-Claire is the founder and president of the X-Food think-tank which brings together alumni of the Ecole Polytechnique around the topic of sustainable food systems. Its main missions are to enlighten controversies and promote innovation.
Anne-Claire is a member of the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) of the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) led by the European Commission. She is especially involved in topics around sustainable agriculture.
Anne-Claire is an engineer by training. She is a graduate of École Polytechnique ParisTech University (X84) and Ponts et Chaussées ParisTech University (1990).
