Meet Iléane, new collaborator at Sayari !
Sayari is pleased to welcome Iléane Lefevre, our new consultant LCA & Biodiversity.
Interview of Iléane:
Why did you choose Sayari?
I: As part of my Master’s degree, I wanted to do an internship related to sustainability consulting, and in particular LCA methodology, to learn more about these subjects and see if I wanted to make a career out of it. Sayari seemed to me the perfect company to learn solid skills in a good team atmosphere.
What will you be working on?
I: At the moment, I’m working with Gregoire and Anne-Claire on biodiversity issues in the mining sector. I’m looking forward to contributing to several biodiversity and LCA projects during my internship.
What environmental challenges are you the most concerned with ?
I: I think all environmental issues are important, and as they are often interrelated, you have to be careful to take all relevant aspects into account. But climate change is probably the one I’m most interested in.
What are your favorite hobbies?
I: I’m passionate about figure skating, both watching competitions and doing it myself. I also like rollerblading, nature walks and manual activities like crocheting and drawing.
Do you have a motto?
I: A quote from one of my favorite books says « He who thinks he knows no longer learns ». In sustainability, I think it’s important to realize that there’s always more to learn.
If you were an animal, you would be…
I: Probably a polar animal, because I love the cold, snow and frozen bodies of water.
If you were to go to a deserted island, what are the three things you would take with you ?
I: My best friend, who knows all about wild plants and living in the wild for long periods of time, and a notebook and pencil to document the experience.
