Meet Baptiste, new collaborator at Sayari!
Sayari is pleased to add Baptiste JACQUES to its team. We took this opportunity to ask him a few questions.
Baptiste joins us as environmental project manager, and developer of IT tools to automate and make our work more reliable.
Here’s his interview.
Why did you choose Sayari?
Sayari is a company on a human scale, committed to working on fascinating subjects. Furthermore, its strong links with science prove that the company is constantly seeking to improve its analytical methods.
What will you be working on?
I’ll be carrying out Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies on food products, cosmetics, and textiles. In addition, I’m in charge of developing internal tools to automate data management as much as possible and optimize the analysis of results.
Which environmental issues concern you most?
I’m concerned by all ecological issues, but the loss of biodiversity is of particular concern to me. All too often, mankind forgets that it is part of this biodiversity, and each species disappearance weakens the balance of tomorrow’s world.
What are your favorite hobbies?
I love sports, especially running.
Do you have a motto?
« Science without conscience is only ruin of soul », Madame Mulier, my 4th grade history teacher (and also Rabelais 😉).
If you were an animal, you’d be…
A panda because it spends all day eating!
If you had to go to a desert island, what 3 things would you take with you?
Sunscreen, a towel, and a swimsuit. If you’re going to be on an island, you might as well make the most of it!
