# Sayari’s approach to biodiversity combines the concepts of LCA and ecology. LCA makes it possible to assess the product’s entire value chain, from raw materials to end-of-life, and thus avoid transferring impacts from one stage to another. It also makes it possible to spatialize impacts where the stakes are high. In this way, ecology enables the impacts of practices to be taken into account in fine detail.
# Depending on your needs and perspectives (including regulatory ones), we identify the relevant method. We can then apply it to your specific case; you take charge of the subject and consolidate a pioneering position and a competitive edge on the subject. # We test and apply numerous assessment methods: Chaudhary and Brooks 2018, Lindner et al 2019, or Impact World+ …
In France, we are also involved in the French government’s Environmental Labeling Initiative, in which biodiversity is expected to play an important role. We are also working on our own developments, such as the PBF method, co-developed with I-Care and Consult, and the Biomaris method (marine biodiversity). We work with pioneers in the cosmetics, textile and agri-food sectors, including fishing and aquaculture.
