Sayari bolsters the scientific robustness of NEC – Net Environmental Contribution
NEC – Net Environmental Contribution has entrusted Sayari with the scientific review of its sectoral frameworks for the Agri-food and Mining & Metals sectors.
Objective
To enhance methodological robustness and alignment with the state of scientific knowledge, particularly on agricultural practices, pollutions, and major environmental issues in the NEC methodology available to financing and investment organizations.
This mission also ensured consistency with other reference methodological frameworks, such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Product Environmental Footprint (PEF), and the guidelines of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
Results
More robust, comparable, and credible indicators, strengthening investors’ confidence in environmental assessments and consolidating the place of science at the heart of sustainable finance.
“This collaboration illustrates what drives us: putting scientific rigor at the service of economic transformation and strengthening the credibility of transition tools,” emphasizes Anne-Claire Asselin, founder of Sayari.
An exciting collaboration with Jean-Guillaume Peladan, Clément Bladier, and Vincent de Chillaz, serving science at the heart of the ecological transition and impact investing.
